Champions Trophy 2025 Tentative Schedule: An important update has been received regarding the full schedule of Champions Trophy 2025. The tournament’s first match could be played between Pakistan and New Zealand on February 19. The second match could be between India and Bangladesh. South Africa’s first match could be against Afghanistan, which might be held in Karachi. Three Pakistani cities might be selected for the Champions Trophy, including Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi.

According to Rev Sports, Team India will play three group matches in the Champions Trophy. The first match could be against Bangladesh, second against Pakistan, and third against New Zealand. The last group match might be held on March 2. India’s match against Pakistan could be on February 23. If we talk about the semifinals, the first one could be played on March 4 and the second on March 5.

When and Where Will the Final Be Played –
The Champions Trophy final match could be played on March 9. However, information about the venue hasn’t been revealed yet. A reserve day has also been kept for this. The semifinal matches could be played on March 4 and March 5. The tournament’s last group match could be between India and New Zealand. However, the schedule hasn’t been officially announced yet.

What About the Schedule for Australia, Afghanistan, and England –
Australia’s first match could be against England, which might be played in Lahore on February 22. Afghanistan and South Africa could face each other in Karachi on February 21. Bangladesh and New Zealand might play their match on February 24. Pakistan and Bangladesh could play their match in Rawalpindi on February 27.
Tournament Will Follow Hybrid Model –
The Pakistan Cricket Board wasn’t ready for the hybrid model initially. However, they agreed after ICC’s insistence. They had also put forth conditions for accepting the hybrid model, which ICC agreed to. Now India and Pakistan teams won’t play in each other’s countries. Additionally, ICC tournaments in these two countries will follow the hybrid model until 2027.
