Big Tournament In Pakistan After 29 years

Pakistan last co-hosted an ICC tournament in 1996, when it co-hosted the Cricket World Cup with India and Sri Lanka. But after the terrorist attack on the Sri Lankan team in Lahore in 2009, international cricket distanced itself from Pakistan. After this, Pakistan had to struggle a lot to convince teams and cricket boards about its security system. Now with the hosting of ICC Champions Trophy 2025, Pakistan is all set to become the center of international cricket once again.
