The Pakistan Cricket Board provided an update on Ayub’s condition. Board stated that Ayub is recovering well and will continue to rehabilitation in England.
The Reason of His Injury
The 22-year-old injured himself during the seventh over on the opening day of the match while fielding in the deep third-man area with teammate Aamir Jamal. As he attempted a relay fielding effort, Ayub lost his balance, stumbled backward, and twisted his ankle.
Saim Ayub, who made his international debut against Afghanistan in March 2023, has swiftly earned 44 international caps.
