Champions Trophy 2025: Team India has reached Dubai to play the Champions Trophy hosted by Pakistan. The team has to start its campaign against Bangladesh in this tournament. Before this tournament, Team India had lost badly 1-3 Australia in the Border-Gavaskar series, after which the BCCI issued an order for the players saying that all the players have to travel together in the same bus. But now India’s wicketkeeper batter KL Rahul has ignored this rule, after which he went to the team hotel by car.
Actually the bus was waiting for KL Rahul to leave the airport. But when he did not come out of the stadium, the bus went to drop the rest of the players to the team hotel. Meanwhile, it was seen that Rahul left the airport after a delay of 20 minutes.
According to the report, Rahul did not go from Dubai airport to the team hotel with the team bus but by car. According to BCCI rules, all Indian players will travel together from the airport to the hotel and team practice. However, players can travel alone only if they take permission from the team’s head coach Gautam Gambhir in some situations.
Team India Reached Dubai On February 15
Team India arrived in Dubai on February 15. India will play all its matches of the tournament at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium as the government has not given permission to travel to host country Pakistan. A huge crowd gathered at the Dubai airport to welcome and cheer captain Rohit Sharma and his team. The Indian players were given a rousing welcome as they left the airport to board the Indian team bus.
Clash With Pakistan On February 23
The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is going to start from February 19, the first match of which will be played between Pakistan and New Zealand at the National Stadium in Karachi. India has been placed in Group A along with Pakistan, New Zealand and Bangladesh.
The biggest match of the tournament will be played on February 23, where India will face Pakistan. India is one of the most successful teams in this tournament, where the team has managed to make it to the finals in the last two editions. The team last won the title in the year 2013.
