Babar Azam In Champions Trophy 2025: After a horror show in the ongoing Champions Trophy 2025, the former Pakistani skipper Babar Azam has been scrutinized for his poor batting and slow approach. Babar started out brilliantly against arch-rival India but eventually fell for a lazy shot for 23 runs.
With two defeats in two matches, Pakistan is officially knocked out of the Champions Trophy 2025. The last match of Pakistan would be against Bangladesh.
Mohammad Hafeez Exposed Babar!
The former Pakistani batter and skipper, Mohammad Hafeez highlighted and slammed Babar Azam’s approach and exposed his “King” image. Apart from this, Hafeez acknowledged Virat Kohli’s majestic knock.
“Virat is a high stage performer. He looks out for big occasions and performs. Whenever India plays against Pakistan, you get a chance to star in those matches. Shoaib Malik bowled well against India, where he became a star, Shahid Afridi became a star when he hit sixes against India,” Hafeez told PTV.
“In reality, if someone deserves to be called King, it is Virat Kohli, not Babar Azam. Look at his performance. He has performed all across the world, not become a king by employing PR. Call out those spokespersons, show them the mirror,” a fuming Hafeez said.

“Virat Kohli keeps waiting for those occasions. He waits to cash in on those opportunities. He keeps a positive mindset; he thinks that ‘I will win the match for India. I will not only play, but I will win the match for my country.’ And that’s why he is the greatest batter in the world,”

India’s last match of the group game will be against New Zealand on March 2. Both sides would be eager to end the group stage on high.
