Champions Trophy: The International Cricket Council’s (ICC) board meeting today ended without resolving the Champions Trophy matter, with discussions lasting just 10 minutes. In light of this, the ICC has scheduled another virtual meeting with board members for tomorrow.
ICC CEO’s Meeting With PCB
Earlier today, ICC CEO Geoff Allardice held discussions with officials from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). During this meeting, the ICC tried to clarify the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) position to the PCB.

Pakistan’s Stance On Hosting The Champions Trophy
Although no official statement has been made, sources indicate that Pakistan remains opposed to hosting the Champions Trophy under the hybrid model. Should this position hold, Pakistan could announce its withdrawal from the tournament as early as tomorrow.
