In a recent video released by BCCI, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma was seen in conversation with Ravindra Jadeja and Shubman Gill talking about their ICC adventures. Rohit Sharma Revealed that this will be his 17th ICC event. After hearing this both Jadeja and Gill were visibly seen in awe. Although this is not the highest for any Indian player, Rohit is far from behind India’s star veteran Sachin Tendulkar who has several 25 ICC tournaments including ODI and T20 World Cup and events like the Champions Trophy.

“9 T20 World Cups, three 50-Over World Cups, two Champions Trophy and this one 15th…There’s World Test Championship too…so two of them makes it 17. They’ve called me 17 times to do all this,” Rohit said.
“This is my 17th appearance. Nine T20 World Cups, three 50-overs World Cup. That’s 12; and two Champions Trophies. That’s 14. And two World Test Championships. Make that 17,” said Rohit in the behind-the-scenes interview.
India will be playing all its Champions Trophy matches in Dubai due to the political tensions between the two nations. The Champions Trophy will kick off on 19 February with Pakistan clashing against New Zealand in the inaugural match of the ICC events at the National Stadium, Karachi. India is scheduled to play against Pakistan on 23 February at Dubai International Stadium. India will also play its matches against Bangladesh and New Zealand on 20 February and 2 March respectively.
According to reports, the players were also allowed to travel with their wives for the ICC event which was earlier forbidded due to some strict norms of the BCCI after India faced a shaming loss at the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia.
