On a typical UEFA Champions League night, FC Barcelona went head-to-head against Borussia Dortmund at Westfalenstadion. The Spanish giants managed a 2-3 win in a tight match in a hostile away environment. Ferran Torres shined for the bluagranas, coming off the bench and delivering two goals. The win put FC Barcelona in second place in the league table.

First Half
The first half went on without a goal for either side. The visitors looked more comfortable on the ball with more threats in the final third of the opposition. Dortmund occasionally threatened Barca, but Hansi Flick’s side was more dominant. Raphinha, on multiple occasions, failed to convert half-chances from through balls from Lamine Yamal.
Being unmarked, Raphinha missed an open goal in front of the goal of the penalty area from a trademark trivela pass from Lamine
However, the Spanish winger took some shots on his own, which did not end up in the back of the net.
Second Half
Into the starting minutes of the second half, the hosting side looked brighter. They appeared strong and would have taken an early lead in the second half with Serhou Guirassy shooting away from the post, which ended up in an offside, though. But is Hansi Flick’s side who broke the deadlock in the 52nd minute of the game, Raphinha blasted it in with a precise assist from Dani Olmo.
Black & yellow reacted instantly, gifted a spot kick as a penalty with a foul committed by Cubarsi. Guirassy barred it in, calmly levelling the scoreline.
Coming off the bench, Ferran gave Barcelona the lead for the second time in the match. But the game was far from over when Dormunt struck back with a simple goal from Guirassy when Inaki Pena was caught out of his line.
Ferran Torres saved the day for the visitors firing the ball into Dortmund goalkeeper Kobel’s right corner of the goal from an assist by Lamine Yamal on a counter.
