Having played 48 times for Southampton, Argentine midfielder Carlos Alcaraz made his English football comeback in the winter transfer window when he joined Everton on loan from Flamengo. Eager to make an impact, the 22-year-old feels a possible permanent transfer to Goodison Park is close. Carlos Alcaraz expressed his respect for the Portuguese celebrity when questioned about his choice to honor Cristiano Ronaldo after penalty against Crystal Palace. He said “I have always liked Cristiano despite being Argentinian. Obviously, Messi, I think, is the best player in the world. There is no doubt there. But I have always liked Cristiano—I like his consistency, his dedication, his hard work, the way he has evolved and changed his style of play over the years. He has evolved to keep playing at the highest level. That celebration was just down to liking him so much, I always admired him.”

Alcaraz Recalls Thrilling Merseyside Derby Ahead Of Everton’s Clash With Man United

Carlos Alcaraz participated in an exciting Merseyside Derby with Liverpool, which included four goals, post-match red cards, and much drama right before facing Crystal Palace. Thinking over the crazy meeting.
