When railways fast bowler, Himanshu Sangwan bowled Indian cricket team’s star player, Virat Kohli who made a comeback to domestic cricket after 12 years, everyone in the crowd went numb and after coming into the limelight, Himanshu spoke to Hindustan Times about their specific planning for Virat Kohli. He said,
“The driver of our team bus told me that I should know I need to bowl to Virat Kohli around the fourth-fifth stump line, and he will get out. However, I believed in myself. I wanted to focus on my strengths rather than exploiting someone else’s weaknesses. I bowled according to my strengths and got the wicket.”

Virat Kohli played for Delhi against Railways in the last match of the Ranji Trophy. Before the match started a huge crowd at Jaitly Stadium gathered to see Virat Kohli but fans were disappointed when Himanshu Sangwan dismissed Virat and sent him back to the pavilion. Virat Kohli had prepared extensively for his domestic cricket comeback but it came to nothing. Meanwhile Himanshu who took Virat Kohli’s wicket became the talk of the town. Himanshu made his debut for Railways in 2019 and leads the pace bowling attack of the team.
