The ‘WWE World Heavyweight Champion’ CM Punk was brutally assaulted by a masked man who invaded the cage during the men’s WarGames match. Bron Breakker took advantage of the situation and surged towards Punk with a devastating spear to get the pinfall and the win for his team at the Survivor Series PLE last weekend.
Paul Heyman, Pavlovian Breakker, tripped with the pinfall victory and confronted Raw General Manager Adam Pearce at WWE Raw’s December 1 fallout show. Later in the broadcast, during a segment, Heyman proclaimed that Punk would be facing Breakker in a World title defense on January 5 at Raw.

Bron Breakker sets sights on World Title as CM Punk gets ruled out
Since his arrival on the main roster, Breakker has only been there as the Intercontinental champion, and now he is aiming for the World title to start off the year 2026. The first Raw of 2026, which will take place on January 5, is going to be live from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.
Meanwhile, Joe Tessitore, who was on commentary, disclosed that CM Punk has been ruled out of competition following the WarGames match. Even though Punk wasn’t there for the fallout show, Breakker did deliver a vicious promo once the news was out.

Breakker taunts CM Punk with harsh words and controversial personal jabs
Following the proclamation, Paul Heyman passed the microphone to Bron Breakker, who wasted no time in launching a furious tirade about how simple it was for him to pin the World Champion at Survivor Series: WarGames.
He called Punk a “soft as* b*tch” and said he was not any different from Seth Rollins, whom he deemed a self-obsessed character, who keeps others at his level. Besides, Breakker very bluntly mentioned Punk’s wife, the WWE diva AJ Lee, saying that rather than contending with others in the ring, Punk should be taking care of the turbulent situation at his home, that his wife is a bigger star than he is.

During his promo, Bron Breakker once again brought light to the incident when CM Punk tried to hurt him at WarGames, but he assured that Punk’s career would be over as a consequence. He remembered Punk saying at one time that he should show that he could “cut a promo with the big dogs.” After that, he said that indeed he did it. Breakker concluded by tagging himself as the real best in the world.
