Brentford pulled off an improbable 2-2 draw from 2-0 Transgression against Manchester City with some late goals from Yoane Wissa and Christian Nørgaard, in a fiery English Premier League meeting last night. Earlier goals from Foden, a fierce volley, followed by an agency from a handler around the box, saw the effort wasted in just the final quarter of the game. The boys in blue were cut down as they got cashed by resilient hosts they could not even think about all the possible outcomes. So, things right? Yeah. City haven’t won a game, and they’ve stayed stuck in position six with 12 fewer points than the Liverpool leaders, whereas the Bees, wonderfully spirited, vaulted up the standings from 17th to 10th.
First Half Summary: Man City 0-0 Brentford
City’s Erling Haaland, Kevin De Bruyne, and Mateo Kovacic all missed the target, with Haaland missing from very close range, De Bruyne’s shot from the edge of box going over the bar. Brentford’s Yoane Wissa and Bryan Mbeumo were seen testing City’s defense, followed by Mikkel Damsgaard, who created potential dangerous plays. It was without doubt that Savinho’s shot was ambitious and ended moments after his attempt just flew over the bar. Both teams still wasted their opportunities and had to wait till the next stage of play in the second half.

Second Half Summary: Man City 2-2 Brentford
Energy was sparked all over the stadium on the other half where Man City came from behind to take the lead on the 66th minute when Phil Foden shot clearly Kevin De Bruyne’s cross. Foden, just twelve minutes after his first goal, doubled the lead 78 minutes into the game. Brentford, however, fought back with the 82nd minute goal from close range. Outstanding was Nørgaard’s score in stoppage time-a 2-2 draw affirmed by his sharp header over the goalkeeper from a Keane Lewis-Potter subin cross. Definite final blows were exchanged within the 90 minutes, and it would be a draw, as City remained frustrated and as Brentford rejoiced in victory from so dire a situation.
