Congratulating Roger Binny on his appointment, former cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin said, “He (Roger Binny) is a nice man. I have played a lot of cricket with him and we have fond memories. No discussions took place on the ICC chairman post today, the board will decide later.”

Annual BCCI meeting took place in Mumbai
News agency ANI reported, “The Annual General Meeting of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) took place at Mumbai’s Taj Hotel. BCCI Secy Jay Shah, President Sourav Ganguly, Vice-Pres Rajiv Shukla, Treasurer Arun Singh Dhumal and Former Indian cricketer Roger Binny were present at the event.”
It further informed, “BCCI Secretary Jay Shah, Vice-President Rajiv Shukla, Treasurer Arun Singh Dhumal and Former Indian cricketer Roger Binny arrive at Taj Hotel in Mumbai for the Annual General Meeting of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).”
