Braun Strowman Shows Off New Look After WWE Release!

Last month, WWE surprised everyone by releasing Bron Strowman. Strowman is currently working on his look.

Braun Strowman had two notable runs in WWE. While his first stint brought him considerable success, his second tenure didn’t see the same level of momentum or attention in terms of booking. Initially released in 2021, Strowman was once again let go by the company in May 2025, a decision that left fans surprised and disappointed.

Currently, Strowman is on a break from wrestling. He’s focusing on his fitness and appearance and has been actively engaging with fans on social media. It appears he’s not in a rush to return to the ring anytime soon. Most recently, he caught everyone’s attention by unveiling a brand-new look.

Kevin Nash Comments on Strowman’s WWE Release

Strowman’s release in 2025 was reportedly due to his high salary, despite his popularity. WWE veteran Kevin Nash recently addressed the issue, hinting that budgetary concerns led to his departure.

Speaking on Kliq This, Nash said:

“Braun was probably one of the highest-paid guys in the locker room. Eventually, it becomes a question of value. If the company doesn’t see a return on that investment, tough decisions are made.”

What’s Next for Braun Strowman?

Strowman, known for his feuds with WWE’s top stars including a memorable rivalry with Roman Reigns — has plenty of experience and name recognition in the wrestling world. After 2017, he was portrayed as an unstoppable monster and became one of the most feared wrestlers on the roster.

A return to WWE seems unlikely for now. However, speculation is already building around his next move. AEW, led by Tony Khan, could potentially be a landing spot. Strowman’s stature and popularity could bring AEW significant attention, and Khan may be willing to offer a lucrative deal to bring him in.

Fans will now wait to see if Braun Strowman re-emerges in a different promotion or takes more time to reinvent himself.
