Such a consistent chain of statements has been released by former Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi which has increased significantly after the tragic Pahalgam Attack. But it seems like Virat Kohli’s fandom breaches the border tensions. It was seen when Shahid Afridi congratulated Virat on his retirement from Test cricket, the longest format of the game.

Afridi Constant Provocation
Afridi has nowadays been in news for his constant controversial remarks regarding the India-Pakistan conflict. His provocative statements always draw criticism, particularly following the Pahalgam attack last month. He called Pakistan’s military actions as ‘Unbreakable’ and even accused India of “martyring children” and targeting civilian areas, including mosques.
“Pakistan’s defense is unbreakable. Modi now realizes how costly it is to confront Pakistan,” Afridi remarked at the rally, as reported by The Express Tribune. “They martyred our children, targeted civilian areas, and mosques. We are a peace-loving people, but we will not remain silent in the face of such aggression.” Afridi said.
Kohli Vs Afridi
According to Cricmetric, in ODI contest Virat Kohli has scored 56 runs out of the 57 deliveries faced against the Pakistani all-rounder where he has just been dismissed once. In in T20, Afridi has never managed to send Kohli back to the pavilion. He has smashed 59 runs out of the 45 balls faced against Shahid Afridi.
