Big Update: Pakistan Team All Set To Tour India In August 2025!

It is now confirmed that the Pakistan Men's Hockey Team will be travelling to India for Asia Cup 2025.

Despite all the reluctance between India and Pakistan cricket teams to play against each other, which was also seen in Champions Trophy 2025. It is now confirmed that the Pakistan Men’s Hockey Team will be travelling to India for Asia Cup 2025. The tournament will be taking place from August 29 to September 7 at sports complex in Rajgir, Bihar.

Hockey India president Dilip Tirkey expressed his excitement about the the clash between the two nations.

“Any match between India and Pakistan anywhere in the world is always exciting and good to watch. In 2023 also, when the ACT was held in Chennai, the two teams played a good game. And I expect it to be similar when the two teams face off in Rajgir also, for which the fans would come in numbers,” Tirkey stated.

Speaking to TOI, Raveendran Sankaran, Director General & CEO of Bihar State Sports Authority (BSSA), revealed the various upgrades being made to the sports complex to accommodate the event.

“The hostels are being air-conditioned so that the teams can all stay inside the complex, and we will be constructing temporary galleries to hold more spectators,” he added.

All the preperations are underway and the focus will now be on the upcoming hockey match between India and Pakistan.
