One of the most remembered sledge incidents took place during the 2018-19 Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Rishabh Pant, who was playing for the first time in Australia for the Indian team called the then Australian skipper as a temporary captain. The incident took place during the boxing day Test match in Melbourne wherein Pant gave a funny and humorous welcome to the Australian captain. Pant had said, “We’ve got a special guest here. Come on, boys, let’s give it up for the temporary captain.”
