New Delhi: West Indies all-rounder Kyle Mayers talks about his wisecrack with Indian star Virat Kohli during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 match between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). Mayers also spoke about Kohli’s aggressiveness and the whose wicket is most valuable between Indian skipper Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.

The incident took place during the 43rd leg of the 2023 IPL as Faf du Plessis’ RCB defeated LSG by 18 points in a hard-fought match at Lucknow and spoke with Kohli after their match against Kyle Meyers. However, this was interrupted by Gambhir’s escape with Meyers in the lead. Gambhir was later seen mumbling about Kohli and attempting to assault him.

While face off against Kohli, Mayers was held back by several teammates, including Rahul. Kohli and Gambhir were spotted exchanging words and had to be separated from two groups of players, including RCB captain Faf du Plessis. Kohli seemed to put his side forward, but the atmosphere was not friendly on either side.

In a recent interview with FanCode, Kyle Meyers talked about Virat Kohli and the most valuable wicket between Indian heavyweights Kohli and Rohit.

“Virat Kohli. Any bowler would want Kohli out, he’s one of the best players in any format,” Kyle Meyers said to FanCode.
When discussing jokes with RCB star player Virat Kohli for the 2023 IPL season, he said: “I think it’s great to understand that sometimes you have to kick your opponent out and when you have to create an opportunity to get out of the game.”
“You know, being aggressive is good, but it shows courage and a willingness to push your team over the finish line,” Meyers added.
