New Delhi: On Sunday, Sunil Chhetri Brough proud for West Bengal when his team Bengalurur FC defeated Mumbai City FC by 2-1 to win Durand Cup Football Tournament. But what followed the win was the disgraceful actions of West Bengal politicians that have sparked controversy on Social Media.
Two Disgraceful video goes viral
Two videos from the trophy ceremony went viral where the politicians, including the Governor of West Bengal, pushed away the players to get a better hold of the trophy and get pictures.
Fans slammed the politicians and called their actions disgraceful.

In the first video, West Bengal Governor La Ganesan pushes Sunil Chhetri away for a photo opportunity during the post-match presentation ceremony.

This video was followed by another such shameful act where Sivasakthi Narayanan was pushed by Aroop Biswas, Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs in West Bengal on the stage. Narayanan was the opening scorer in the finals of the tournament.
