In a remarkable display of skill reminiscent of legends Kapil Dev and Imran Khan, England’s Ben Stokes has etched his name into the annals of cricket history. Stokes, renowned for his prowess with both bat and ball, achieved a milestone by surpassing 200 Test wickets in his 103rd match.
Recently, Ben Stokes faced challenges with the bat, struggling to surpass 5 runs in his last 5 Test innings. However, he showcased his bowling mastery against the West Indies, making crucial breakthroughs. In the first innings, Stokes dismissed top-scorer Mikyle Louis, conceding just 14 runs across 8 overs. His impact continued in the second innings with an early dismissal of Kirk McKenzie and a repeat of Louis’ wicket.

Sir Garry Sobers, a West Indian cricketing legend, was the first to achieve this milestone with 8,032 runs and 235 wickets in 93 Tests. Jacques Kallis of South Africa, another iconic all-rounder, amassed 13,289 runs and claimed 292 wickets in his illustrious career spanning 166 Tests.
