Today – March 29, It is likely that Team India’s Head Coach Gautam Gambhir and Selectors led by Ajit Agarkar will have a meeting to finalise the list of players for the contracts for coming tenure in Guwahati. Apart from the contract, the meeting will also decide the future of Rohit Sharma’s captaincy for the upcoming 5-match Test Series against England.
Shreyas Iyer Set To Return
As per the sources, star players like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja are set to retain their A+ contracts and there will be inclusion of a few new names in the list, including Shreyas Iyer, who missed out on the contract last year.
