BCCI Central Contract 2025: The Board of Control Cricket in India (BCCI) is about to announce it’s “Central Contract” for 2025. There’s growing speculation about the future of some of India’s top cricket stalwart.
Among the key discussions is whether Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will retain their A+ grade status or not? Both players have been stalwarts of Indian cricket for over a decade, but with age catching up and emerging competition from younger stars, questions are being raised about their place in the highest grade.

Fitness Concerns?
Kohli and Rohit have had incredible careers, leading India in all formats and achieving numerous records. However, their recent form and fitness issues have raised concerns. While Kohli’s consistency in all formats remains strong, his struggles in limited-overs cricket have been a topic of discussion. Rohit, on the other hand, has had a good run in T20s but hasn’t been as dominant in ODIs and Tests recently.
New Central Contract Will Decide
As the new central contracts are finalized, the BCCI may look at form, fitness, and overall contribution to the team. While both Kohli and Rohit are likely to retain their top status, it remains to be seen if they will keep their A+ grade in the face of stiff competition from younger, in-form players. Fans and analysts alike will be keenly watching the BCCI’s decision on this front.
