32 of the world’s best teams from 20 different countries are taking part in this year’s FIFA Club World Cup which is a huge event for global football in America. The tournament’s expansion started on May 31 with a play-in match between LAFC and Club América, aimed at deciding the last team joining the main group stage. Then, the tournament continues till the grand final on July 13 at the famous MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. 12 of the clubs are from Europe and there are also clubs involved from South America, Asia, Africa, Oceania and the CONCACAF region, as per a report by USA Today.
