“Great way to start the morning,” Robinson wrote. “2:00am and got bit by a bat. That’s right—a bat! 4 hours later in the ER and six shots. #animalattacks #hospital.”
The post, while light-hearted in tone, hints at a potentially serious situation. Bat bites carry the risk of rabies, a rare but deadly virus. While the odds of contracting rabies from a bat are low, medical experts urge immediate treatment following any possible exposure. Fortunately, Robinson acted quickly, receiving a series of vaccinations that are known to be highly effective in preventing the disease.
For longtime WWE fans, the incident adds another wild chapter to Robinson’s already eventful year. Inside the squared circle, 2025 has been far from quiet for him. At WWE Night of Champions, he was taken out by none other than John Cena, who accidentally floored the referee with a shoulder tackle – a moment that sparked big laughs backstage.
Just a few weeks later, Robinson found himself on the receiving end of a thunderous spear from Goldberg during the Hall of Famer’s retirement match on Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 12.
