New Delhi: Bangladesh women defeated India women in the 3rd and final T20I by  4 wickets to avoid a 0-3 whitewash at Sher-e-Bangla stadium in Dhaka on Thursday, July 13.

Shamima Sultana rocks India

Shamima Sultana led the innings with a solid 42 before an expensive 18th over from debutant Rashi Kanojiya, who opened the game for Bangladesh. Bangaldesh were 85/6 when Sultana was run out in the 17th over, but Ritu Moni and Nahida Akter’s 18-run unbeaten stand for the seventh wicket took them home with 10 balls to spare. India had won the first two games and took the series 2-1.

India’s skipper Harmanpreet Kaur decided to bat first after winning the toss. Batting first, India produced the below total of 102 runs with the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs.
