Australia’s Fast Bowling Blow: Michael Neser Ruled Out Of India Test Series Opener!

Neser Got Injured

Australia’s veteran fast bowler Michael Neser has been injured. He took four wickets in the second four-day match against India A at the MCG. He suffered a hamstring injury during this match. Playing for Australia A, Michael Neser stunned India A’s top order in the second four-day match. He dismissed four of the first five batsmen. After this, he got injured and limped off the field.

Due to this injury, he will not be able to bowl in this match. Earlier, Neser had also suffered a hamstring strain while playing for Queensland in the domestic One-Day Cup last month.

In the second four-day match against India A, he dismissed Abhimanyu Easwaran and Sai Sudarshan in the first over itself. After this, he made India captain Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devdutt Padikkal his victims. Due to his lethal bowling, India A was all out for just 161 runs. Neser has played 2 Test matches for Australia. But his record in domestic cricket has been excellent. He has taken 374 wickets at an average of 24.18.

Australia Has Not Announced The Team Yet

Australia has not yet announced its team for the Test series against India. It was believed that Michael Neser could be included in the team as a backup for this series. In such a situation, the Australian team would now be praying that he recovers as soon as possible.
