After batting first, Australia scored 178 runs which had the major contribution of David Warner (75) and Tim David (42). Tim had hit 4 fours and 3 maximums that included one that amazed the cricket fans.

Australia win by 31 runs
Australia won against West Indies by 31 runs after they successfully defended their total of 178 runs. “The difference in the game was Davey and Tim with the bat on a wicket that had its challenges. You are always learning, there is a method to everything that we do and it is not just you come out and change something on that particular day,” said Australian captain Aaron Finch after winning the series.

“There will be challenges (in the England series), few guys are flying out, few guys are staying behind and it is about managing ourselves before the World Cup,” he added.
“It was a fantastic all-round performance. Well executed by the bowlers, they bowled a nice line and length. I had a good little break and looking forward to going to Perth. Little bit like myself when I first started, he’s (Green) going to have a big impact in the future,” said David Warner, Player of the Series.
