Australian veteran Test batter David Warner might be playing the final Test series of his career but the Aussies’ fearless and attacking display of cricket isn’t stopping anytime soon.
Warner was the star batter on Day 1 at Perth as the 37-year-old scored his 26th Test century in the 1st Test against Pakistan on November 14.
Warner was coming under a lot of criticism considering his poor red ball form recently. However, the Aussie silenced all of the critics in style, targeting the wayward Pakistan bowling attack and reaching to his hundred in an aggressive manner.
The Aussie batter reached his century in just 125 balls after making his first fifty runs within 41 deliveries.
Warner’s innings featured a range of shots including 15 fours and a huge six as he remained unbeaten till Tea on Day 1.
It was as if Warner’s century was not enough for the haters, he went on to celebrate it with style. Warner leaped with joy and then put his finger on the lips to silence all the critics that were taking a dig at him for his poor show for the Kangaroos in red ball cricket.
Warner’s motivational image
Warner had a posted a childhood photo of him yesterday showing himself in the baggy green cap he got for Australia. He captioned the photo with a heartfelt message and tried to motivate youngster and advised them to never give up on their dreams just like the Aussie batter did.
