Upon reaching Adelaide, Rohit and Kohli wasted no time and hit the practice nets hard. The two star batters trained for nearly an hour, focusing on correcting the mistakes made in Perth. With the team’s chances hanging in the balance, their form could be the difference between staying in the fight or losing the series.
Must-Win for India
The Adelaide ODI, scheduled for October 23, is effectively a do-or-die clash for India. A win would level the series 1-1 and keep hopes alive for a comeback. A loss, however, would hand Australia the series and deal an early blow to Shubman Gill’s captaincy stint in ODIs.
