Asia Cup 2025 Schedule: India-Pakistan Rivalry Returns With Clash On September…

According to media reports, the much-awaited match between cricket's two arch rivals India and Pakistan will be played on 14 September (Saturday).

The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has announced that the Asia Cup 2025 will be held from 9 to 28 September. This time too the tournament will be played in T20 format and a total of 19 matches will be held. India and Pakistan have been placed in the same group, which has further increased the excitement in the tournament.

According to media reports, the much-awaited match between cricket’s two arch rivals India and Pakistan will be played on 14 September (Saturday). This match is considered to be the most talked about and important match of the group stage, which cricket lovers around the world are excited to see.

Both the teams are in Group A, which also includes UAE and Oman with them. After Asia Cup 2023, India-Pakistan clash will be seen once again, due to which the curiosity of the fans is at its peak.

Group division of teams
This time eight teams are participating in the tournament, which have been divided into two groups:

Group A: India, Pakistan, UAE, Oman

Group B: Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Hong Kong

Each team will play with the other teams of its group and the top teams will reach the Super Four. Finally, the final match of the tournament will be played on 28 September.

Mohsin Naqvi gave official information

ACC President Mohsin Naqvi officially confirmed the dates of the tournament and said that this edition will also be in T20 format. This competition is considered important in terms of preparation for the 2026 T20 World Cup. Despite the busy international cricket schedule, a place has been found for this tournament in September.
