New Delhi: Unfortunately, Yuzvendra Chahal did not make it to India's Asia Cup 2023 squad despite a total of 17 names being selected for the tournament. The leg-spinner has been a staple in the white-ball line-up but will miss out this time as the Men In Blue have opted for just one wrist-spinner in Kuldeep Yadav.

The Indian team is going to play its first match against Pakistan in the Asia Cup. It will be organized on 2 September 2023. The match will be organized at the Kandy Stadium in Sri Lanka. India and Pakistan may have another match. If both the teams reach the Super 4 then. It will be organized in Colombo.
