Dubai: Sri Lanka has won by 2 wickets after a close fight with Bangladesh in the group stage of the ongoing Asia Cup 2022.
After choosing to bowl first, Sri Lanka restricted Bangladesh at 183 runs and fought hard to reach the target with 4 balls left.

Kusal Mendis became the hero of the show with a 60-run knock and he was supported by captain Dasun Shanaka’s 45 runs.
This was the knock out fixture of Group B of the tournament and the hosts have reached the next level.
From Group A, India has qualified for the next level and the knock out fixture will be decided after the game between Pakistan and Hong Kong.
