The cricketer’s sportsman spirit is seen on the field on what efforts does he bring in to help the opposition player who is injured. However, other than the sportsman spirit, Australian all-rounder Ashton Agar did something during the Sheffield Shield which will touch the hearts of the fans.

During the Sheffield Shield match between Victoria and Western Australia, Ashton Agar showcased brilliant playing spirit as he batted with one hand. Agar was hit on his shoulder during the match and came into bat at number 11 for Western Australia. Despite pain and struggling to hold the bat, Agar added crucial 15 runs along with the centurion Joel Curtis. While, the Australian left arm spinner was dismissed for a duck off five balls.

Ashton Agar’s brave efforts went in vain as Victoria registered an eight-wicket victory against Western Australia. Marcus Harris and Peter Handscomb scored match deciding half-centuries and guided their team to a comfortable win.
