New Delhi: Australian batter David Warner once fell in the trap of his arch rival Stuart Broad. The Englishmen gave his side best possible start in the 3rd Test match of Ashes series at the Headingley Cricket Ground on Thursday.
Broad bags Warner wicket for 16th times
The right-arm fast-medium bowler bagged Warner’s wicket for 16th occasion. Warner and Broad continued the age old battel and Broad always overpower the southpaw.
Warner’s wicket
Warner started the innings on a high note with a boundary on the first. But it was Broad who had the last laugh as he dismissed the Aussies on the last delivery of the first over. Warner succumbed to Broad later in the first over, Warner tried and feel the ball outside the off-stump of Broad’s delivery who came around the wicket. There was not much of seam movement or swing however Warner’s hard hands did the trick and edge carried to Zack Crawley at slip who took a brilliant catch.
What a moment for Stuart Broad!
