New Delhi: All-rounder Mitchell Marsh fought the lone battle against the England's pacers as he scored brilliant century on the 1st day of the 3rd Test at Headingley. Marsh family member were on cloud nine after witnessing the masterclass by the left-hander.

It was an outstanding outing from Mitchell Marsh as the all-rounder alone saved the Australia from collapsing. His came to bat when Australia had just lost Steve Smith for merely 22 runs.
Mark Wood picks up fifer
England captain Ben Stokes won the toss and forced Australia to bat first on the greenish surface. Making his comeback, Mark Wood first send back opener Usman Khawaja. Wood went on picking 5-wicket haul. Marsh (118) counter-attacked brilliantly at this juncture and shifted the pressure back onto the English side with a scintillating ton studded with powerful shots down the ground.
