FC Barcelona confirmed on loan transfer of Alex Valle to Como 1907 until June 30, 2025. This represents his third club this season. The deal was made public by the club in a statement on Friday, and it does not include any buy-back option, although there is a clause in Valle’s contract freeing him for any club for a fee of €6 million at season-end. The 20-year-old left-back, who was on loan at Levante, joins Como, who are coached by former Barca star Cesc Fabregas. His mid-season transfer was expected, with reports claiming he had already agreed on the move ahead of the winter transfer window closing.
Alex Valle’s Celtic Spell Ends Ahead Of Champions League Playoffs
Alex Valle joined Como 1907, putting an end to his short stay at Celtic amid fears that the transfer would prevent him from featuring in February’s Champions League playoff against Bayern Munich. However, in his short spell in the UEFA tournaments, Valle featured in seven out of Celtic’s eight group-staged matches; he had notable mentions, such as playing the full 90 minutes against Atalanta, who had won the Europa League, but had drawn with Barca 2-2. Valle could face Atalanta again in Italy while under Cesc Fàbregas’ management at his new club.

Valle’s Focus: Helping Como Avoid Relegation And Eyeing Barcelona Return
Presently in 13th place in Serie A and just two points above the relegation zone, Como is aiming for survival in the top flight as the important time of the 2024/2025 season knocks on the door. Regular minutes for Alex Valle will be his utmost priority before his potential return to Barca, assisting Como in its attempts to avoid relegation. Having made a positive impression during Barça’s preseason tour most strikingly against Real Madrid in New Jersey Valle should have the chance to show coach Hansi Flick his worth again as the new season approaches.
