Alex Carey Confident Of Countering Jasprit Bumrah In IND vs AUS 2nd Test

Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah will be once again be looking to target the Australian batters in the IND vs AUS 2nd Test at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide.

The Australia national cricket team was given a major hammering from India in the IND vs AUS 1st Test played at the Optus Stadium in Perth. Team India pace attack led by Jasprit Bumrah totally exposed the Australian batting lineup consisting of great batters such as Steve Smith, Travis Head, Usman Khawaja and Marnus Labuschagne. Australia Ready With Jasprit Bumrah’s Counterpunch

Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah proved out to be a major challenge for the Australian batters as the latter picked up eight wickets throughout the match. Bumrah will once again bring a new challenge for the Aussies once they play in Adelaide with the pink ball. However, Australian wicket-keeper batter Alex Carey is full of confidence that the Australian batters will find a solution to counter punch Bumrah. He said, “Oh, look, he’s a fantastic bowler and has been for years. Our batters are world-class and always find solutions. We’ve analysed him, and hopefully, we can handle his first and second spells better, getting him to bowl later with an older ball.”

“Travis’s counterpunch was effective, and I trust our batters to adapt. Not just Bumrah, but their other debutants also bowled well, and we’ll strategise accordingly”, he added. While, the Aussies will have a pressure of levelling the series, Rohit Sharma and Co doesn’t have any sweet memories at the Adelaide Oval. The Indian team registered its lowest score in Test cricket when they played at the venue last time and will have the challenge to forget all the bitter memories and come out on top.
