Before John Cena’s last WWE match, The Rock wrote a touching note to him. John Cena will face Gunther at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Washington, D.C. this weekend, on December 13, in what will be his final match. The Farewell Tour of The Cenation Leader has surely been rich in events as he made new stars, and also re-opened several old rivalries.
The Rock is among the former rivals he has had a chance to interact with again, but even through their extensive enmity, they have maintained a cordial bond outside of it.
Golden Globe spotlight on Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt
It was just disclosed that Dwayne Johnson was nominated for the Golden Globe Award as Best Actor – Motion Picture Drama for his performance in The Smashing Machine biographical sports drama where he portrayed MMA icon Mark Kerr. The Rock’s partner, Emily Bunt, who played the role of Dawn Staples, simultaneously received a nomination for the Best Supporting Actress award in the same category.

John Cena honours Dwayne Johnson’s achievement
Keeping track of the events, John Cena used his Instagram account to share the graphic as a means of recognising and honouring his co-WWE athlete for the nomination. Dwayne Johnson expressed his gratitude through commenting on the post, which appreciated the 17-times World Champion for his input in the industry and referred to him as the GOAT.
“Love ya man and as you know, always grateful for all you’ve done for the business we love. You are truly the GOAT. Bring your moonshine, I’ll bring the tequila.”
