AFG vs NZ: Afghanistan’s Anger Erupted At Noida Stadium, Match Cancelled Again Without Toss

The toss could not take place on the third day of the only Test match played between Afghanistan and New Zealand in Greater Noida. The third day's play was also cancelled due to waterlogging on the ground.

AFG vs NZ Test Match Day 3 Update: The only Test match to be played between Afghanistan and New Zealand in Greater Noida could not start even on the third day. The match was called off even today without a toss due to waterlogging on the ground.

Earlier also, the match had to be canceled two days ago due to a wet outfield in the stadium. Meanwhile, cases of mismanagement of the ground have also come to light, due to which the management of the Afghanistan cricket team has got angry.

Dry The Ground With A Fan, Wash Utensils With Washroom Water

There are also allegations of mismanagement in Greater Noida Stadium. A day before, the ground was being dried with fans, the picture of which went viral on social media. The management of the Afghanistan team alleged that adequate arrangements were not made to dry the ground.

At the same time, utensils are being washed with washroom water. The catering staff of the stadium was also seen washing utensils with washroom water. In such a situation, from the players to the management of the Afghanistan team, everyone said that they would never return to this ground.

Restrictions Have Been Imposed On The Stadium 

The last international match was played in this stadium of Greater Noida in March 2017. Then an ODI cricket series was played between Afghanistan and Ireland. At the end of this year, i.e. in September 2017, cases of match fixing in corporate matches came to light, then BCCI banned this stadium. Currently, this ban has been lifted.
