AFG vs BAN: In a thrilling encounter at the ICC T20 World Cup, Afghanistan secured a momentous 8-run victory over Bangladesh to qualify for their first-ever World Cup semifinal. Opting to bat first, Afghanistan set target of 116 runs, finishing their innings at 115/5 in 20 overs.

Bangladesh faced an uphill battle in their chase and struggled from the outset, losing wickets at crucial junctures. Litton Das battled valiantly with an unbeaten 54 off 49 balls, but lacked support from the other end as Bangladesh faltered against Afghanistan’s disciplined bowling attack.
