New Delhi: Legendary striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is about to turn 41, but his body tells a whole different story. In a recently shared picture, the Swedish icon revealed the state of his legs 11 weeks after undergoing an Achilles tendon operation.
The 40-year-old – currently with Italian giants AC Milan – posted a photograph on Instagram where he showed his muscular thighs and calves while lying on a hammock in the sun. “Limitless #11weeksafter,” wrote Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the caption.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic returned to AC Milan to continue his physiotherapy process having had most of his recovery from knee surgery in Sardinia so far.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will return to Sardinia again after the match at San Siro against Udinese on Saturday for some more physio sessions, and then he will eventually go back to Sweden. The legend is expected to return to Milan in October to continue his work and gradually join the squad before making his full return early in 2023.
In the last season, Zlatan Ibrahimovic held the silverware of Serie A high when his side AC Milan, won the Scudetto after 11 long years.
Later, the Swedish star revealed that he was suffering from a knee injury and had played for six months with an ACL in his knee. He has undergone surgery and will be out of the game till January 2023.

Zlatan has signed a new one-year contract at AC Milan. The former Sweden international has once again proven he is the ultimate athlete, and “lions don’t compare themselves to humans” after sharing a picture of his physique online.

“For the past six months, I played without an ACL in my left knee. Swollen knee for six months. I was only able to train with the team 10 times in the last six months. Took more than 20 injections in six months. Emptied the knee once a week for six months. Painkillers every day for six months. Barely slept for six months because of the pain. Never suffered so much on and off the pitch. I made something impossible to something possible. In my mind I had only one objective, to make my teammates and coach champions of Italy because I made them a promise. Today I have a new ACL and another trophy,” Zlatan said about his injury after winning the Serie A title.
