SRH amazed RCB with a surprising win by 42 runs, despite the two teams competing fiercely until the 19th over at the Ekana Stadium.
SRH Posted A Mammoth 231
Without much to gain from winning, the Sunrisers picked their bats and gave the match their all. The players managed to run up 232 scores because the pitch was level and the boundaries were shorter. The opening batters hit exceptionally.

After a good start, RCB’s Chase crumbled
Virat Kohli and Phil Salt started the RCB innings with explosive fireworks. Because of their fierce batting, the match remained close through the 14th over. Evidence of momentum appeared when Jitesh Sharma, leading RCB as captain, scored well in the first half. At that moment, Royal Challengers Bangalore were almost there, and a winning run looked sure to happen.
Turning Point
Although he had bowled only a little in the tournament, Nitish Kumar Reddy took the ball for the 15th over and began to turn the match around. The game took a complete turn after Eshan Malinga’s 16th over. After bowling tight lines for 17 runs, Malinga came back and fired again, ran out Rajat Patidar, clean bowled Romario Shepherd and quickly sent Jitesh Sharma back to the pavilion.
Malinga perfectly dominated the ball with reverse as it got old and gave us one of the greatest overs ever. With the team in control, RCB saw their last 7 players fall for only 16 runs as the pressure got to them.
