Former South African cricketer Faf du Plessis has been among the most athletic cricketers and in the modern day cricket. The latter at the age of 40 is as better as any other young cricketer and takes catches with brilliant speed and agility. du Plessis, who retired from international cricket long back is now seen playing league cricket for various franchises all over the world. His fans mostly remember him playing for Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the Indian Premier League other than representing South Africa. The former South African cricketer is currently playing for the Morrisville Samp Army in the Abu Dhabi T10 league.

During the fourth ball of the second over in the Delhi Bulls vs Morrisville Samp Army Abu Dhabi T10 league qualifier 2 match, Shadab Khan tried to hit bowler Aamir Hamza bowled a short delivery on which Shadab tried to play a shot over the covers. However, he mistimed the shot which was caught by Faf du Plessis. The former South African cricketer stationed himself at extra cover and timed a brilliant jump to pluck a one handed stunner.
Returning to the match, batting first, Delhi Bulls put up score of 89/7 wherein they lost wickets at regular intervals of the innings. Tim David top scored with an innings of 24 runs from 14 balls whereas Nikhil Chaudhary played an innings of 16 runs from eight balls. Isuru Udana picked up three wickets whereas Amir Hamza ended up the innings with two wickets. On the other hand, Morrisville Samp Army chased down the target with ease wherein captain Andries Gous ended up playing a knock of 38 runs from 23 balls, on the other hand Jack Taylor remained unbeaten on 23 runs from 11 balls.
