The WWE Universe has been charged since WrestleMania 41, as each week’s episode has had surprise twists and backstabs. As per usual, friendship and betrayal are once again at the forefront of WWE storytelling.
During WrestleMania 41, the audience saw Paul Heyman betray Roman Reigns and CM Punk in shocking fashion, siding with Seth Rollins instead. That shocking turn of events set the groundwork for what is to come. According to current momentum, more shock betrayals are imminent. Let’s examine three WWE stars who might be stabbed in the back sooner rather than later.
Solo Sikoa Might Get Ousted
Things are heating up between United States Champion Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa. While Fatu captured the title at WrestleMania 41, Solo took the credit. Fatu is adamant he did it alone.
During Backlash 2025, Sikoa and Jesse Mateo assisted Fatu in defending his title—but the cracks are showing. Sikoa recently whined that Fatu now no longer greets him with the same gusto as before with the line “I love you, Solo.” Their relationship now appears irreparably broken.
Fatu still attempts to reason with Sikoa, but seemingly in vain. According to current storylines, it’s very likely Fatu will turn against Sikoa soon—perhaps in the form of a vicious backstage beating.
Liv Morgan Might Be Heartbroken
Women’s Tag Team Champion Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio’s on-screen relationship has been a hit with fans. Their romance, complete with on-air kisses, has been captivating audiences. But Liv is out on break for film commitments—and Dominik’s attention appears to be elsewhere.
During the most recent episode of Raw, Finn Bálor teased that Roxanne Perez could become a part of The Judgment Day in the near future. Behind the scenes, Perez flirted with Dominik by presenting him with chicken nuggets—and Dominik was obviously captivated as he observed her departing.
This may be a setup for Dominik to turn on Liv and team up with Roxanne instead. WWE has begun setting up a potential love triangle.
Randy Orton Could Be Blindsided
Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes have a deep history, going all the way back to their days in Legacy. Orton has backed him up since Cody’s WWE return in 2022. For more than a year now, fans have been wondering if and when a dream match would happen between the two.
Since Cody lost the Undisputed WWE Championship to John Cena at WrestleMania 41, he has not appeared on WWE TV. Rumors indicate a heel turn on his return—in this case, possibly aiming for Orton.
If Cody turns on Orton, it sets up a thrilling showdown between them at SummerSlam 2025.
