No Time For Team India To Adapt For West Indies Pitches
So far, India has played all its World Cup matches in the USA, including the last league match, which will also be in the USA. After this, Team India’s Super 8 matches will all be in the West Indies. In the Super 8 stage, India will face Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Australia.
Unlike the Men in Blue, these three teams have already played matches on West Indies pitches in this tournament, while India has not played any games there yet. This could be a disadvantage for Rohit Sharma and his team. India has played all their matches at the Nassau Cricket Stadium in New York, where bowlers have received a lot of support.
So far, five teams have made it to the Super 8 stage, and Team India’s schedule for the Super 8 is nearly set. Ranked A1 in the T20 World Cup, India will face the B2, C1, and D2 teams. Afghanistan is likely to be C1, Australia B2, and Bangladesh D2 in the tournament.
