Fans of wrestling have been familiar with the reality that retirement from the industry is always a possibility. It was in 1983 when Terry Funk took his first retirement, but he still performed for a long time.
Saudi Arabia’s Crown Jewel event in 2018 was so tempting that Shawn Michaels’ long-held retirement could not stand, and he came back for the ill-fated tag team match with Triple H against his old rivals, the Undertaker and Kane.

John Cena is down to just one fight in his WWE career before he finally puts down the jorts for good. Cena will have his last fight on December 13th at Saturday Night’s Main Event and has the knowledge that his opponent will either be Gunther or LA Knight. However, there is one star who is not at all in the retirement announcement category and has humorously referred to being “semi-retired.”

28-year-old WWE star Tyler Bate took to social media to share a photo of himself relaxing on the beach, along with the caption: “enjoying semi-retirement”
WWE enthusiasts may be allowed to consider Bate as a semi-retired wrestler since he has not been presented as himself on television since May. The British performer has subsequently come back to the scene as Bravo Americano, being a member of the Los Americanos team along with Rayo Americano (Pete Dunne) and El Grande Americano (Ludwig Kaiser).
