The Royal Challengers Bangaluru has appointed Rajat Patidar as their new captain for 2025 IPL edition. The challenge for young Patidar in the hope for better fortune is heavy as a rock. The RCB management seems in a dilemma as it even named its name twice.

The Royal Challengers Bangaluru was named as Royal Challengers Bangalore from 2008-2024. On 19 March Royal Challengers Bangalore adopted its new name at an event in the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Also, the logo of RCB kept on changing on its logo. From 2008-16 they adopted their first logo. For 4 years they they choose their 2nd logo from 2016-2020. From 2020-2022 they adopted a new logo. For a further 2 years, they adopted another logo. Finally, they adopted their current logo in 2024 and are still going on with it.
