Team India registered a brilliant victory against Australia in the first Test of the five-match Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 series. Rohit Sharma has a big fanbase and always share heartwarming moments while interacting with them. BCCI shared a video on their official ‘X’ handle which mentioned Rohit’s emotional engagement with a fan. Rohit was giving autograph to fans while returning from practice session during which a fan said, “it’s been a 10-year-wait” and called Rohit “Mumbai ka Raja”. The Indian captain had a smile on his face and turned back to give autograph to the fan and ended his decade old wait.

Team India will be looking to forget its previous bad memories experienced at the Adelaide Oval. Rohit Sharma and Co was blown away for 36 runs while batting in the second innings during the 2020-21 Test, which was also their lowest team total in the history of Indian cricket. The Indian team looks well balanced wherein almost every player is in form. The Indian team needs to win the match to keep its chances alive for qualifying in the World Test Championship 2023-25 final.
