Mokshada Ekadashi is the Ekadashi that falls in the Shukla Paksha of the month of Margashirsha. On Mokshada Ekadashi, Lord Vishnu is worshipped.

It is known as the Ekadashi in Hindu religious texts because it brings salvation to the ancestors. Fasting on the day of Mokshada Ekadashi is thought to fulfil all wishes. On this day in Dwapar Yuga, Lord Shri Krishna revealed the Gita to Kurukshetra. As a result, Geeta Jayanti is also observed on this day. On Dashami Tithi, the day before Ekadashi fast, one should eat only once in the afternoon. On Ekadashi, get up early in the morning, take a bath, and make a fasting vow. Worship Lord Shri Krishna after taking the fasting vow. Offer them incense, lamps, and naivedya. Following that, worship and wake up at night. Worship the next day on Dwadashi, then give food and charity to needy people or food to a Brahmin, and then break your fast by eating.
