Items Needed for worship:
- Idol or image of Goddess Lakshmi
- Incense sticks and a diya
- Flowers, fruits, and sweets for offerings
- Rice, turmeric, kumkum (vermilion), and sandalwood paste

Vaibhav Laxmi Pujan Vidhi ( process)
- Begin by purifying yourself through a shower and wearing clean clothes.
- Place the idol or image of Goddess Lakshmi on an altar covered with a clean cloth.
- Arrange the other puja items around the idol.
- Light the diya and incense sticks.
- Chant the mantras or prayers
- Offer flowers, fruits, and sweets to the deity as a symbol of your devotion
- Offer coconut, betel leaves, and betel nuts.
- Apply kumkum (vermilion) and turmeric to the idol’s forehead.
- Place a handful of rice on the deity’s feet as a symbol of abundance and fertility.
- Apply sandalwood paste on the deity’s feet.
- Read the Vaibhav Lakshmi Vrat Book along with prayers and hymns and perform Aarti.
- In the conclusion you have to make a sankalpa, expressing your intentions for seeking blessings.
- After the puja, distribute the prasada to your family members and guests.
- Donation is an integral part of the Vaibhav Lakshmi Puja.
